Video notes

PI - to prevent iris blocking trab site and to prevent pupil block

Releasable sutures - tied with a slip-knot and loop into a corneal groove. This allows removal at the slit lamp when required post-op.

Secure closure of conjunctiva prevents wound retraction and leak.

Anti-fibrotic Mitomycin C 0.3mg (MMC) used in here. MMC prevents against scarring and bleb failure. Any contact with the cornea and conjunctival wound edges are avoided.
