Enucleation Wet Lab on animal eyes - Singleton Hospital, Swansea 28th October 2016
a. Audience: junior doctors
This was an exciting learning opportunity to perform an enucleation off a cadaver(porcine). This was supervised by our Oculoplastics/Orbits consultants and proved to be a great way to learn how to do a procedure that is increasingly becoming more uncommon.

"Introduction to Microsurgical Skills" for foundation doctors and medical students- Royal Glamorgan Hospital 24th October 2013
a. Audience: Foundation doctors/Medical Students
b. learning how to operate under a microscope, suture tie using 10.0 sutures, lid repair, corneal repair, making a corneal wound and performing capsulorrhexis on a model eye
c. this was an excellent opportunity for junior doctors or senior medical students who were picking up an interest in ophthalmology and wanted to learn and experience microsurgery without having to pay hefty course fees. This free half day event was taught by registrars.
