25th January marked the 6th annual Welsh case presentation competition, headed by Mr Rajkumar and held at the Princess of Wales Hospital, Bridgend.

This year saw a wide range of topics being presented by our Welsh ophthalmic trainees, from chemical warfare to pet spiders. The presentations were well received by our consultants and fellow trainees. We also heard a consultant sharing his experience on Ozurdex injection mishap!

Many congratulations to the winners Dr Shoaib Hassan with his "Giant fornix syndrome", runner-ups Dr Irina Cozma and Dr Jordan Chervenkoff.
